It is one of the most common Ice Cream Machines on Habbo.com due to it being released on 4 out of 5 English-speaking hotels before the Merge - 2 of them via the catalogue, 2 via rewards. It was released into the catalogue during the same month for Habbo.co.uk and Habbo.com.sg (March 2007), handed out as a reward to users who purchased credits during a promotion on Habbo USA and only a handful were given out as a prize to winners of a room building competition on Habbo.ca. It was originally named the "Peppermint Ice Cream Machine" on Habbo.co.uk, but the merge caused the American furniture names to dominate, thus leading to it being renamed "Aqua Ice Cream Maker". Given the 10 year gap in the release date to present-day, the Aqua Ice Cream Maker continues to become less common due to inactivity of players and is demanded by traders and collectors alike due to being a part of the Ice Cream Maker 'set'.
