The Gigantic Beanstalk was released on the 15th March 2010 to celebrate St. Patrick's Day events on Habbo. It also marked the return of rares on Habbo that were released into the Catalogue; these were usually sold for the same price of 25 Credits and came with a badge if a player bought one[1].

Not only did the Gigantic Beanstalk mark many occasions, but it was also a first for Habbo too. Upon its release it was noted that it was the biggest Habbo furni to have ever been available to buy due to its many stages it can go through; this ranges from a small mud patch before the Beanstalk has grown to a full Beanstalk that reached high into the Habbo room's sky.

Habbo decided that they needed to do more than just release the rare, therefore a huge competition was also released on the 19th March 2010 to continue with the campaign. The competitions included a writing and room competition whereby players could win a Beanstalk Mystery Badge.

Later in August 2019, the Gigantic Beanstalk was released on Habbo Turkey within the Sunlight City campaign for the same price, but with a different badge. Also released in that same campaign on Habbo Turkey was the Limited Edition Rare from 2013 the Yohand Comeere easel.

Badge

Everyone who purchased the Gigantic Beanstalk from the catalogue also received a badge.

According to Habbowidgets 1041 Habbos have this badge.

Competitions

Beanstalk Room Competition

The competition aim was for players to create a room that was fit for a Leprechaun and would lure them to stop hiding wherever they were[2]. For this, a special range was released into the Catalogue called 'Leprechaun Bait' as it fits with the aim.

For this competition players then had to use their Gigantic Beanstalk or any other furni they could find to create the room. Afterwards, they needed to enter with a screenshot and send it to the Habbo competition's email.

Lerechaun Story Competition

The competition aim was to write a story, a wacky, unique and weird one about a 'Gigantic Beanstalk Mystery Leprechaun' which could only be a few sentences long. For this competition, entrants were asked jokingly whether they heard weird noises in the night and if they've ever experienced encounters with various mythical creatures.

The Gigantic Beanstalk hasn't been released into the Catalogue since the return of the New Rares.
