the-wain

the-wain (Cain) is a newer staff member who joined in April 2014. He got referred to Habbox by iGenius, who encouraged him to join the HabboxLive Team. the-wain started off as a Trialist DJ for two weeks, and got accepted at the end, along with winning DJ of the Week mid April 2014. the-wain joined the Content Designer Team and left the HabboxLive Team on the 10th June 2014.

Biography

the-wain is from Derry~Londonderry in Northern Ireland, which was announced as the City of Culture in 2013. the-wain is 17 years old and works as a freelancer. In his spare time he helps out the Habbox Content Team with designing some new pages and helping out with the Habbox Wiki. He's a huge computer geek, and is the know-it-all with regards to hardware and software. He is fluent in Java, C++, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Ruby, Lua, PHP, SQL, VB and Python. He joined Habbo in the Late 2006 and played until 2009, where he had stopped due to losing interest of Habbo. He found out about Habbox through DJ iGenius, who encouraged him to join along with getting back into Habbo again. He designs his own websites in his spare time along with doing private work for clients who are interested in his coding services.

Minecraft

Along with Habbo, the-wain is an avid Minecraft Player and Developer. He develops for the Bukkit Platform which is a server that most hosts use which allows developers to script and add/modify concepts to the game. These scripts are called 'plugins', and the-wain has developed many plugins including: Adminify, CommandBin, ChestScanner, CFBanner, BubbleWords, cConomy, UUID Limiter, Mask-o-matic, JavaChat, DragonText and Redstone Walls.
