The Mysterious Box is a crackable first given out to all users in 2011 who verified their email address. When the box was opened, the user would receive a pet cat. Users could only receive the box once per email.
Introduction
The Habbo news article when the box was introduced read as follows:

Quick Facts: The box opens if you have verified your email -- if you haven't, here is how: Double click the mysterious box Click 'Edit' next to your email address Click 'Resend' Once you receive the email, click the Activate link inside it, and you're good! One box was delivered to each Habbo Account, so if you cannot find it in your inventory, try one of your other Habbo characters that you've logged on with lately! Oh, and due to limited storage space we could only reserve one box for each account, so adding characters for this reason won't get you any more boxes. Sorry!” |
