Once you buy your pet, you are unable to change the colour or name, so be sure on them! The pet horse can be dyed. There are many colours to dye both its main and hair colour. You could even buy it a couple of new hairstyles, if you wanted!

When you buy any pet, it comes with 'Starter Food'. Starter Food is low in energy, so you need to buy new accessories for your pet. You need to buy a water bowl, food, bed and toys. Each pet has different accessories. Maximum price of beds are 6 credits. Waterbowls have a low price of 1 credit. The maximum price for food is 3 credits, unless you buy a bulk pack. Toys for you pet cost a maximum of 3 credits. Please note, however, that your pet will not die. It will be safe and sound in Habbo Hotel, regardless of whether you remember to feed it or not!

The amount of scratches and times your pet has been trained will go towards that badge in the pet tab in the achievements dialogue. There are 6 badges to collect, which are fairly easy.
