Rare Values on Habbox have been the talking point on Habbo for many years. In the recent years (2010-2012) there has been a decline in Habbos using the values on the site. This is mainly due to the merge and the Marketplace but some Habbos do use the values religiously.

How it works

The Rare Values on the site are dependent on various values that have been witnessed within both trades and Marketplace. They are mainly reported by the Rare Values team of Rare Values Reporters and Expert Rare Values Reporters. The senior roles in the department include Head Rare Values Reporters which currently allow them to ask for values to be updated on the site. These are then forwarded to the (Assistant) Manager who decide whether or not to approve or decline the new value given.

The Values can only be edited by the (Assistant) General Management team and Rare Values Management. The Values are updated as regularly as they can but anomalies can slip through the net and a few Values could be off. The team don't just take Rare Values into consideration as they allow their team to update normal items too!

Current Positons

• Rare Values Reporter - Acquire values from trades and Marketplace and put into a four value per report (Minimum 7 reports per week).
• Expert Rare Values Reporter - Acquire values from trades and Marketplace and put into a four value per report (Minimum 10 reports per week).
• Head Rare Values Reporter - Use reported values to ask for an update (Minimum 30 approved updates per week)
• (Assistant) Manger - Mainly run the department, approve/decline values from Head Rare Values Reporter

History

Since 2004 the department has been one of the largest on the whole site and although many other sites have tried to create their own values, this hasn't been successful and Habbox has always maintained the 'Rare Leader' if you will.

Habbox Rare Values team is rather quiet but rest assured they are always working behind the scene just like every other department on the Fansite.

Throughout the 8 years in which Habbox Rare Values has operated it has seen many managers and assistants come and go. There has currently only been two female managers which were Faboosh and Samanfa.

The current senior Rare Values team is Pigperson as Rare Values Manager and has held that position since 1st April 2012 and Samanfa as Assistant Rare Values Manager also beginning on 1st April 2012. The latest management change for this department is Samanfa stepping down from her post as Rare Values Manager which she held from the 18th October 2011.

Pigperson has been in an (Assistant) Rare Values Manager position since 17th January 2012 whereas Samanfa has been in it since the 28th June 2011.
