Habbox Events, also known as the Events Department, has been one of the main advertisers for Habbox throughout the years of its operation, communicating well with Habbox's members. Its main aim is to interact with Habbo players to ensure they enjoy the Events, generally on the Habbo client, and ultimately join HabboxForum. Over the past few years, some of the biggest names on Habbox have been part of this department, as collaboration with the Events department meant that they could promote other parts of Habbox in a bolder way.
In every Habbox event, unlike other games on the client, if a Habbo loses the game, they will not be able to pay something to save themselves or make another player lose. Therefore, many people enjoy going to Habbox event due to the games being far more recreational. Several events are usually held each day from a team of anywhere between 10 and 30 staff, all located around the world. FlyingJesus and iPoluted currently manage the team.
Over the years the events team have put on many different and unique promotions to boost Habbox's popularity and they are known for their large prizes such as several Credits were given out all at once.

Events Player of the Month
In 2011 under the management of Mathew and Jurv, Habbox Events brought out a new scheme for regular event players to win an award. Players had to be active in Habbox events throughout the month for a chance to win, the winner was awarded a badge, 50 rep and 1 months VIP on the forum. After much consideration, the scheme was scrapped during November 2013, but was brought back in January 2014, later it once again faded away due to numbers of those attending events: it was re-introduced in November 2014 and the rewards were edited to either A month of forum VIP, 300 tokens and 100 rep OR 1 month of Habbo club, 300 tokens & 100 rep.. both options included the forum award.

- Shonly currently holds the record of the highest amount of events hosted in a month with 113 in March 2013.
- Shonly has been Acting Events Manager 4 times.
- Samantha. was awarded the Habbox Outstanding Staff Achievement award, an award given to staff sparingly for an exceptional performance during a month. Having hosted over 100 events in April 2011, she righteously earned this award and was the first person to do so.
