Habbox Events, also known as the Events Department, has been one of the main advertisers for Habbox throughout the years of its operation, communicating well with Habbox's members. Its main aim is to entertain Habbo players to ensure they enjoy the Events, generally on the Habbo client, and ultimately join the Habbox community. Over the past few years, many of the biggest names at Habbox have been part of this department, and collaboration between the Events department and others is often key to promoting the full range of Habbox departments.

In every Habbox event, unlike other games on the client, if a Habbo loses the game, they will not be able to pay to save themselves or to make another player lose. Similarly, paid for bonuses such a 'insurance' or 'fast passes' are not allowed to be sold by Habbox staff. Therefore, many people enjoy going to Habbox event due to the games being far more recreational and not having a pay-to-win feel. Several events are usually held each day by a team located all around the world. nic01e currently manages the team along with assistant manager MadameJaquack.

(Assistant) Events Management	The Events Manager and Assistant Manager, currently nic01e and MadameJaquack respectively, overlook the department and are responsible for staff feedback as well as sorting out recruitment and discipline within the department, and ensuring successful bouts of hosting during large-scale events like Habboxween and HxSS.
Senior Events Organisers	The Senior Event Organisers contribute ideas, send feedback to regular event organisers and motivate the regular staff, while also hosting events.
Events Organisers	An Events Organiser will host events on Habbo where the community can win prizes. All Events Organisers have a requirement of 2 events per week, and on top of that, they are expected to advertise and interact with the community in the Help Desk and other events.
Guest Events Organisers	Similar to Events Organisers, Guest Organisers are expected to host events regularly in the hotel. The main distinguishing factor between the two roles is that Guest Events Organisers have a requirement of 2 events a month, rather than 2 a week.

Events Player of the Month

In 2011 under the management of Mathew and Jurv, Habbox Events brought out a new scheme for regular event players to win an award. Players had to be active in Habbox events throughout the month for a chance to win; the winner was awarded a badge, 50 rep and one month VIP on the forum. After much consideration, the scheme was scrapped during November 2013 but was brought back in January 2014, but was not often used. It was re-introduced in November 2014, and the rewards were edited to either A month of forum VIP, 300 tokens and 100 rep OR 1 month of Habbo club, 300 tokens & 100 rep - both options included the forum award. Meanies once again discontinued the award on rising to Events Manager, and the brief test in late 2018 to early 2019 proved to be unfruitful, and it has not since resurfaced.

• FlyingJesus is the current longest serving Events Manager at 1173 days.
• Shonly currently holds the record for the highest amount of events hosted in a month with 113 in March 2013.
• Shonly has been Acting Events Manager 4 times.
• Samantha. Was awarded the Habbox Outstanding Staff Achievement award, an award given to staff sparingly for exceptional performance during a month. Having hosted over 100 events in April 2011, she righteously earned this award and was the first person to do so.
• In August of 2020 the events team had events on for 24 hours for 7 days straight for the Habbox Summer Spectacular.
