The Cloud Throne was released on the 14th September 2012 as a Limited Edition Rare. There were 200 units available at 300 Credits each, and they all sold out within 3 minutes of entering the Catalogue.
Originally, players regretted buying the item assuming that due to it only being available for 3 minutes, there was no resale value and many began panic selling the item, which ultimately meant the immediate profit upon release was minimal. The Cloud Throne was released as part of the Clouds campaign Habbo ran in 2012, and the Limited Edition Rare marked the end of it. Although many began panic selling, players thought that the item was a lovely piece of Habbo furni.
Since its release, the Cloud Throne has surpassed the 300 Credit mark that it was originally sold for. The average is around the 800 Credits mark, but it depends on the number of the Limited Edition Rare.
