The Evil Bunny Lair was released on the 21st April 2012 as a Limited Edition Rare. There were 800 units available at 96 Credits each, and they all sold within a couple of days of it entering the Catalogue.
Differently to all other Limited Edition Rares, the Evil Bunny Lair was released to coincide with the Bad Bunny pet Habbo released for the Easter 2012 campaign. The 96 Credits price point also reflected the price of the bunny.
Although all the units sold, originally players were hesitant to buy as they were paying 96 Credits for a pet bed. Many players soon realised that the bed could work well in horror themed rooms and since its release, the Evil Bunny Lair has increased a lot in price.
The Evil Bunny Lair was the 7th Limited Edition Rare to ever enter the hotel, and to date it's the only pet bed Habbo has released as a Limited Edition Rare.
